Solo Show: Sound Check (2018 - 2019)

Sound Check is a music-based radio program that I created, produced and presented as a volunteer at SYN. The show ran for 1 hour each week,  airing on Saturday afternoons for a three-month term in 2018 and 2019 on SYN's FM stream, 90.7 FM. 

 

The show had a local-focus and acted as a gig guide for Melbourne listeners, promoting live music shows that were taking place across the city and airing both new and old music from those acts.

 

With this project, I was responsible for the program's entire broadcast - ensuring it's content met the criteria of the Community Broadcast Association of Australia, and endeavouring to continually air professional, technically sound and engaging shows each week.

 

I designed and produced all social media assets (graphics, videos and GIFs), as well as supporting audio elements (show introduction, sweepers).
