Podcast: Kicking Down the Door (2021)

Kicking Down the Door is a podcast I created, presented and produced for Hawthorn Football Club to unveil and showcase the powerful women leading Hawthorn’s VFLW team both on-and-off the field.

 

Each episode profiled a player, coach or official from our women’s team and gave insight into each of their journeys not only to Hawthorn, but to the game itself.  

While telling these individual stories, the podcast aimed to highlight the growth and evolving resources of Hawthorn's women's football program as the club continued to lobby for entry into the AFLW league.

With this project, I was responsible for all elements of production including booking talent, researching guests, preparing interview briefs, post production audio and scripting any additional audio elements (i.e. outro, sweeper, intro).
